2 Years Old
Well, a lot has happened since I last wrote. Thanksgiving has come and gone, winter has set in, mine and daddy's birthdays have passed, and now Christmas is knocking on the door. The pictures below are a good indication of what has happened over the last several weeks. Image one is me posing next to some Thanksgiving decorations. Wow, that was forever ago...at least it seems. It's amazing how big I am getting. I continue to get stronger as you can see in picture 2. I ask to stand up all the time. All I need is something close by to lean on a little bit as my balance is still off. I have no problem scooting around on my butt as you can see in image number 3. I not only move all around in my chair, but on the ground I still do circles and am able to move forward and backward using my legs and feet in a very unique way. Picture 4...I still like to put my legs, still my second set of arms) in the air. Picture 5 is me enjoying some sweet potatoes at the Loveland Family's Thanksgiving celebration. Yummy! Sweet potatoes are one of my favorite things to eat. Picture 6 is one of my Picaso inspired Mr Potato Head creations. I am very creative. Pictures 7 & 8 show my new helmet which I gladly wear since my little "bike" accident. Picture 9 is mine and daddy's actual birthday. It was a Thursday and daddy had to work, but we got to spend a few hours together and open some presents together. Mommy and daddy got me some books, a duck game, and a cat piano. I loved them all! Pictures 10-17 are mine and daddy's birthday celebration which was the folowing Saturday. All my cousins and aunts and uncles came to have fun. I got a lot more gifts and had a blast playing with my cousins. Mommy decorated with animals and I got a pig baloon which is still inflated and I continue to ask for it every day with great excitement. Picture 11 shows a silly picture of me and my cousin Logan. They were trying to get us to kiss. I cocked my neck back away from Logan and he mimicked my actions, Nana caught the funny shot with her camera. The next two pictures show me with my large stack of gifts and my cousins and daddy helping me open them. Thank you everyone for all the wonderful stuff. The next couple of pictures show my cake, created by Cakes by Stephanie of Monroe. They make the most wonderful cakes!!! Thank you Stephany and everyone who helped you make it! I've learned how to blow, and my cousins and I all puffed together to get the candles out. I had a cupcake to get messy with, but chose not to do so. The second to last picture shows my table for Nana and Papa. It is the perrfect height to help me stand. I ask to stnd and play at it every day. It has some chairs on the way which will be nice as well. The last picture shows just how well I have learned how to stand. Don't mind daddy, he had something on his shirt. Thanks all for checking up on me. Thank you all again for the Birthday wishes and gifts. I love you all and hope to see you soon!
