Just A Couple Of Pics

The pictures are in order from newest to oldest, with the first one showing me with less than half of my Christmas gifts. I was having a bad hair day in the second one. The third was bath time and I had a big smile for mommy. The fourth one was me trying to call Nana. The fifth and last one was just me looking all cute wrapped up in a blanket.

I've been doing great. I had a wonderful second christmas. I got lots of wonderful toys and clothes. I've gotten over my cold and am feeling much better. I am such a wiggle worm these days that I give mommy, daddy and all the nurses a run for their money. I miss you all. I hope you all had a nice Christmas.

Addendum: I said Da Da Da for the first time today. Mama and Dada are very excited. I can't wait to learn how to say mama.

For All My Fans & Supporters

The song that I had my daddy add to the BLOG is for all of you out there who love me, support me, continue to check on my progress, and pray for me. I hope you enjoy! If your internet will not play it and asks you to install something, go ahead and install it. Daddy says it is ok. I love you all and thanks for loving me!!!

Love,
Liliana Sue Loveland

It Had To Happen Sometime

They say that there is a first time for everything. Well, it finally happened here. Last night Liliana wasn't feeling so well. Her temperature was well over 100 degrees. She was very squirmy, had lots of spit-ups, had a high respiratory rate and heart rate, and had a lot of secretions. When I got home from work this morning, she was acting like her normal self. She was smiley. Although, her face was red and her heart rate was still up a little. Her feaver was gone for the time being. I spent some time with her and headed off to get some sleep after being up all night working. Just before 3pm I was awoke by LeeAnn saying that Lili needed to go to the doctor at 3:30. She definitely has a cold, which we knew, but there isn't much they can do for her right now. Her lungs are clear, her oxygen requirements have not increased, her ears looked normal. They wanted to take a urine sample, but Liliana had just filled her diaper and when the put in the catheter for the sample, there was nothing there. So for now, we just have to keep an eye on her, keep giving her tylenol if she needs it, and make sure she is getting plenty of fluids. Don't worry, she may be sick, but so far she has been happy and adorable just as she always is.

Liliana, Takin' Over or Waitin' Till Older

I tried to help Liliana make her own post on the BLOG this morning. She was very excited, but things did not work out the way I hoped. I brought my laptop into her room and set it down in front of her. Immediately she began pounding on it with her hand. Unfortunately, the keyboard is set just a little bit too far back from the front of the laptop for her to effectively hit the letters. She was able to hit the space bar a lot, but I didn't think that would make a very good post so I omitted it. Next I figured, she likes to kick and move her legs, why not try and put it under her feet. Instead of pushing on the keys, she was pushing on the front of the laptop trying to roll over. She was doing so good at rolling over this morning. All the way onto her side with no assistance. Not quite able to roll all the way over yet. Anyway, I think she might still be a little to young to take over the blog and publish her own posts. You all have to put up with me for a while longer.

Other developments: Now that the birthday is said and done, Lili says she really doesn't feel any older. We continue to sit her up every day to help strengthen her neck and back. As you read above, she is starting to roll onto her side all by herself. She switched over to a big girl formula the other day. Her sleeping schedule is out of control again. The other night, she didn't fall asleep until 10pm, woke up from 4-6am, and woke up for the day just before 8am. We had a doctor visit the other day. When we got to the office, we were told that he isn't at that office anymore even though that is where they told us to go. We did not get to see the doctor that day and now have to wait until min january. Lili got lots of nice birthday gifts and cards and she thanks you all very much. That is all I can think of for now, I will post some pics when I get a chance.

The Party

My birthday party was a blast. I did however miss seeing all of you who were not here. I hope that you all were able to see me on the BLOG and that there were no problems with the camera. The video was a little slow because of all of the people trying to see me, i appologize. I think someone may have accidentally been moving the camera around from the BLOG as well, oops! My great grandparents, grandparents, and aunts and uncles started arriving around 4:00. I started opening my gifts a little early, I hope you all were already watching. If not, I'm sure you caught most of it. I got lots of toys and some cloths. I loved it all!!! Thank you all for my gifts. There was a little bit of a break between gifts and cake time to get organized. I hope I did not loose some of your attention and you watched me get a little messy. I had a great day. I missed seeing a lot of you. Maybe we will be able to have a lot more of you over for my 1 1/2 year birthday sometime this summer when I don't have to worry about catching a cold. I'm going to attach some pictures of my fun day. I hope you enjoy!

P.S. Thank you Cakes By Stephanie in Monroe, especially Stephanie, Tom, and Tiffany. They were amazing as usual!!!

The first two pictures are of mine and daddy's birthday cakes, yummy!!! The next one is of me playing with a balloon that daddy blew up just for me to play with. I was shaking it around and bonking it on my face, it was fun! The next two are of some of my special decorations. The next few are of me diving into my cake. I was a little hesitant, but still found a way to get frosting on everything and not just myself.
