Look at me!

I don't know if all of you saw, but my mommy and daddy were on TV last monday. They are TV stars. They may even get to do it again next year. Remember the walk that they did for the Muscular Dystrophy Association in my honor? Well they raised the most money out of any team thanks to all of you and many others. Well they were on live television for the annual MDA telethon to present a check for 10 thousand dollars that was raised by their team for the MDA walk. I watched them from home and smiled when I saw them on the television. They said next year they might even do a special featurette of our family. Maybe then I can be a TV star as well.

Things have been going good at home. I continue to grow. At my last doctor visit I was almost 18 pounds. My doctor continues to be impressed with my progress. I got to meet a special girl in a similar situation as myself. When I get bigger, maybe we can be good friends. She was very pretty and her parents were very nice. Mommy and daddy are going to get together with them sometime because they live close to us.

I continue to do my breathing off of the vent every day. Sometimes I do better than others, but anthing is better than nothing. I have two teeth now. I'm glad that the have finally come in. They were sore there for a while. I think I may be getting two more real soon. Mommy and daddy are doing good. They keep me busy with my toys and make me smile every day. I hope you all like my new pictures. I keep trying new things every day. Physical therapy is really helping me to get stronger and try new things. I like surprising mommy and daddy every day. You should see their faces when I show them something new. Anyway, I'm getting tired. I miss you all and hope to see some of you real soon.

Image 1- Now that I can get my arms to my head, I like to play with my hair. I usually pull it over my face just as I am falling asleep as this picture shows. Image 2- I love to put my fingers in my mouth! Image 3- Mommy and Daddy put my into my bouncy thing for the first time. It was fun, but I got kind of tired from being straight up after about 10 or 15 minutes. Image 4- Not only do I put my fingers in my mouth, I like to bring my hands together, play with my fingers and see if I can fit them all in my mouth at once. Image 5- I know Nana says I'm not a wild sleeper, but I am. I like to sprawl out and get my legs, feet, arms and hands on anything I can. It's a comfort thing. Image 6- Me and Daddy relaxing on the couch. Thanks mom for helping me snuggle with Daddy!

Too Cute Liliana Sue! Those fingers really are yummy - I had a taste of them last week. You look like such a big girl in your bouncy chair. Remember when we were laying on your bedroom floor reading books and you told me that big long story about much you like playing with your hair and mommy's jewelry and everything else you can get your hands on. Nana and Papa adore you baby girl and are so happy to see all of the progress you are making.

Not to mention, while she was in her "bouncy thing", she was breathing ALL ON HER OWN! (The big round blue tube you see in the picture provides only O2 and humidification!!!) She is a strong peanut and has lots of determination!! I am very proud of her...she is probably tired of hearing me say that :)
Love to you all and thanks for the support!
Love - The Loveland Family :)

What a big girl! She looks like she loves her bouncy and way to go on the breathing. As always, we love the update. XOXO to David, Lee and Lili!

Way to go Lili!!! It is great to see you in your exersaucer!! I need to ask your Mom some of the details about your visit with Riley?? Can't wait to see all of you!!

XOXO
