Happy New Year to everyone. My progress continues on in the new year. I'm such a wiggle worm that mommy and daddy can not hold me still. I'm trying so hard to roll over. I get all the way on to my side to play with my toys. I go from side to side like it is no big deal. I've gained a lot of neck control. Just today, daddy put me in my bumbo and I sat up all by myslef. Daddy was trying to hold me so I was sitting up on my own, bit I was just wiggling around too much to stay up. I'll tell daddy to include a picture of me sitting in my bumbo. Basically it is a seat that holds me in position and gives me a little back support. It's perfect for me to work on my upper body and neck strength. I continue to pick up and play with heavier and heavier toys. I'm such a happy baby that it is rediculous. I'm getting even more of a personality. When I grab my tubing and mommy and daddy tell me no, I purposefully go right back for it. And, when the give me a toy instead of the tubing to play with, I throw the toy and go right back at the tubing. I'm such a stinker. If you don't know, mommy and daddy were able to get away for a vacation. They went to Cozumel. I stayed home with the nurses and my grandparents and aunts and uncles kept me company. I had lots of fun and so did mommy and daddy. I pulled a fast one on mommy and daddy though. One of the days they were gone, I snuck down to Cozumel, see the picture below. the only bad thing was that daddy caught me and I had to go back home. I saw the gastrointestinal doctor the other day about all of my spitting up. He put me on Zantac and suggested that I get my gastric feeding tube changed to a jejunal feeding tube. That just means that the tube will bypass my stomach and go straight into my intestines. That should hopefully solve the problem. I need to have some other tests first. I will keep you informed. That is all I can think of for now, enjoy the new pictures. Love Liliana

Picture number 1 is me in my bumbo. It may look like my head is resting against daddy's arm or the dresser, but it is not. I am holding it up all on my own, and did so for about 15 minutes or so. Picture 2 is my playing in a fort that mommy made for me. She's the greatest! Picture 3 is me sitting up in daddy's lap. This is usually how daddy makes me sit up on my own, but sometimes I wiggle around too much to cooperate. Picture 4 is daddy making me sit up again. I like to look down at my kicking feet and toes and even try to touch them. Daddy has to support my head when I do this. The last picture is a picture of me when I snuck down to Cozumel. Daddy caught me on one of his scuba dives. Man was I in trouble.

For those of you who don't know, mommy and daddy just got back from a relaxing vacation to Mexico. They had a wonderful time and I had a fun time spending some quality time with great grandmas and grandpas and aunts and uncles. I am really happy to have mommy and daddy back home with me but I am glad they got to get away and unwind.

Daddy is sorry that he hasn't posted in a while. He will make a good post real soon. Two things to look forward to include: Info and donation information for the upcoming Muscular Dystrophy Stride and Ride (we were the biggest contributors last year and would like to do the same this year), and pictures of me, including one in which I snuck down to Mexico and daddy snapped a picture of me.
